Pluto Retrograde
What the retro means in this life: People with Pluto retrograde tend to retreat from others and require a great deal of space. They may fear being surrounded by people. They are also afraid to speak in groups, even if they have something important to say. They become anxious when participating in group activities, especially when they are asked to lead. They shy away from being with groups of people in any capacity unless they are mentally prepared. Unfortunately, by shying away from people, the person with Pluto retrograde person may shy away from the opportunity to spiritually progress.
Past Life Implication: A person chooses to be born at a time when Pluto is retrograde when they have had charismatic influence over others and did not use it for the good of all involved. They may have been dishonest and mislead people. This could mean a group of people or simply, an individual. People with this retrograde subconsciously know it is their lesson. They are now reluctant to share information in groups or influencing a group in any way. This is a result of fear of repeating what they did (misleading other people).
Overcome Your Retro: In general terms, you might find yourself in situations where you are forced to take a stand or forced in jobs/situations where you need to be around people even if you do not want to be. You planned for this. In the blue print of your life, you gave yourself opportunities to overcome your retro. Overcoming your retro is overcoming a fear. The underlying fear for Pluto retrograde is, when in a group, you will be misunderstood, wrong, embarrass yourself or even hurt others.
The way to overcome this retro is to push yourself to be in groups and deal only in the most honest fashion and steer a crowd in the most honest way. You find people with this retro in careers where they are pushed in situations where they must deal with the public. The soul is preprogrammed.
Those with Pluto retrograde may hate being around others – but they find themselves ending up in situations where they must work in and even lead a group. They may feel stagnant – but they are working towards conquering it. In line with the Natural Laws of Life, "The force" is with you to kick your retrogrades. When you reach out and have the intention to work through these underlying issues, help comes – emotions are subsided as well. When you are genuinely looking within and want to be helped, help comes.
Neptune represents how you make use of your talents. It is gaseous – and very mysterious. It represents something intangible – your talents.
Neptune Retrograde
When you have Neptune retrograde: In your chart, you are challenged to make use of your talents. Exactly what kind of talents would depend on the other factors such as the sign and house the retro is in. Some people with this retro have unbelievable talents but have obstacles in their life, outer and inner, that stop them from using these talents. People with Neptune retrograde can’t figure out what they are meant to do and/or can’t seem to focus their energy to make use of their talents. As mentioned before, there are obstacles, they put in front of themselves that make it more difficult to use their gifts. This can also be a placement for addiction. Addiction to drugs, alcohol, sex, food, or gambling are some of the ways you can choose to avoid making use of your abilities.
Past Life Implication: You did not make use of your talents. You were given the proper environment and the right opportunities, but did not follow through. You did not believe in yourself to follow through with your creative plans. You were given opportunity after opportunity but chose to ignore it.
Overcome the Retro: You have to take a stand to use what you have been given. Gifts are carried life to life; our natural abilities have been accumulated life to life. You create new talents as you overcome retrogrades. As you live each life, you are taking in new information and gaining new creative insights. To overcome this retrograde you must resolve the feeling that you are not good enough or not worthy of success. Believe you have your talents for a reason. Look at your sense of purpose and follow through. Recognize you have had various opportunities and that you did not follow through on and accept and work through current limitations. Be aware of your own destructive pattern in this area and recognize your natural abilities are a gift. If there is a will, there is a way to follow through and shine your light as you were meant to. Essentially, expressing yourself creatively is having the freedom to be yourself.

Uranus Retrograde
When people have Uranus retro, they have internalized social values and norms but are still frequently tempted to challenge pre-established rules. They will purposely look at what the line is and cross it – they cannot help themselves. You want to see how much you can get away with and clearly defy authority. Depending on the other factors, such as the sign and house the retro is in, this can represent a person who may even break the law or to a lesser degree, someone who always tests the boundaries of their friendships and relationships. They want to see how far they can push it to gain control. Most people with Uranus retro have boundary issues.
Past life implications: In a past life, this person crossed the line by setting out to challenge authority and rules to get the upper hand for personal gain and others were hurt in the process.
Overcome this retrograde: Addressing what is it about us that makes us want to cross the line means we must begin by examining the fear. (Each retrograde is about resolving a fear). The person with Uranus retrograde fears they will not have their needs met if they work within the parameters given to them. To overcome this, they need to understand they are safe as they are – they can live in the moment and they don’t have to always plan to see how they are going to challenge the status quo or manipulate to get ahead.
Saturn’s rings represent outer influences. This is in sync with its meaning. Saturn represents your family of origin and their influence on you.
Saturn Retrograde
This is a karmic debt towards a parent. This is the only one that is not so much internal but actually external. Saturn is the external – what other people are doing to you. How people parent you, how someone you put your trust in did not look out for your best interest.
Past life implications: The person with this karmic debt might have mistreated a particular person that was close to them. Carrying this retro might mean that you were not fair to a person in your care that was more or less helpless. You may have been hurt in your life – but you have an obligation not to hurt others like you were hurt, especially others that are helpless. If you use your own abuse as an excuse to hurt the next generation, you will have this retro in the next life.
You may be subject to the very same abuse. You are pre-programed and have the strength to break the pattern. In almost all cases with Saturn retrograde, you are paying a karmic debt to a particular person.
Overcome this retrograde: Very simple (but not easy), break the cycle of abuse. Do not use your own personal abuse as an excuse to hurt others as you were hurt. If you are able to work through your past, you will find other strengths waiting for you! As you break the cycle, you will find new talents and strengths you did not know you had that will make your life happier and healthier. These strengths will also assist you in working through any other retrogrades you may have.

Jupiter Retrograde
Jupiter represents your general outlook on life. When it is direct, you have a cheerful balanced outlook on life where you can easily work through typical day to day upsets without absorbing negativity to a point where you become down. When it is retro, you do get these depressed periods where it is very hard to see the forest for the trees.
Past life implications: Those with this retro were not able to appreciate what they had. They purposely skewed things in a negative way to manipulate others. They played the victim role so they would have the upper hand. They knew internally everything would work out – but always manufactured mental conditions – in order to get support or help. They knew better – they were in control.
Overcome this retrograde: In the present, these people have to make a conscious attempt to have a better outlook. This can be chemical imbalance in this life. Even acknowledging this helps. (It is interesting, during a reading when I explain the chart and the retro, those with this retro feel significantly because they realize that this is what they, as a soul in a body, decided to put in front of themselves to learn a lesson. It seemed before that this was something bigger than they were. because it felt like something they could never overcome. When they know they are a soul in a body that has these has ups and downs, when they see that a stranger like me can look at the blue print of their life and say my goodness you are suffering with depression on and off in your life, they are relieved.).

Mars Retrograde
The placement of Mars in our chart describes our temperament. More specifically, it’s about how we express our anger. Based on the planets nearby, the sign, and the house mars is in, anger is either expressed in rage with no control or complete passive aggressive behavior. This issue effects one’s ability to grow generally as it interferes significantly the ability to achieve goals in life. Mars direct would be drive, passion. With Mars retro, people get stuck in things – they are consumed with their own anger. A deep grudge or internalized anger causes many problems. Their drive is greatly impeded by anger as well The fear connected to this retro, is they are not being heard or that other people are getting one over on them. They have to realize they do not have to harm other people to gain control of their own life. With Mars retro, it’s easy to create the adversarial situations in living this out.
Past life implication: History of violently resolving conflicts. In a past life, you may have either bullied others to get your way or played a passive aggressive role in a manipulative fashion to be in control
Overcome this retrograde: Learning how to manage your anger is the way to overcome this retrograde. You first have to admit you have the problem, then make a conscious decision to be open to utilize other strategies to express passionate emotions. Once you learn how to manage this retro, you are further enhancing your strengths.

Venus Retrograde
When Venus is retro, there is a karmic debt in love. A person with this retro might feel true love, but relationship after relationship, their love is not returned. Obstacles appear to stand in the way of being with the person that is truest and dearest to them, and that is because they are unable to seize the moment and go with the souls urge to make the intimate connect. In some instances,they may even have to reject family principal to do what feels right for them. Many people with this retro get so frustrated they numb themselves to love rather than open their hearts.
Past life implication: There was true love and balance, but for the wrong reasons, feelings of the heart were rejected. One may have incurred this retrograde because when they found true love, they rejected it because of other people’s opinions, social status or material reasons. How to Overcome this retrograde: A person can work through this retro by following their heart and having unconditional love despite external situations and a whole bunch of philosophical reasons not to. This person really needs to take a stand and listen to their heart. A person with this retrograde may have to have faith over fear and open up in order to find the right person.

Mercury Retrograde
When mercury is retrograde in a natal chart there are significant focusing problems. You are either hyper focused - missing the big details or you can’t focus at all as you move quickly from one thing to the next. The planets nearby, the house and the sign it is in will determine the exact definition of this retrograde. This retrograde reflects the fear of focusing on here and now. With it, you are always looking ahead or in the past. This is the hardest retro of all because it represents the fear of reality. People with mercury retrogrades are often the types who are called “spacey” or are so focused on one thing they forget the rest of the world exists. This all stems from the same thing – not wanting to accept the reality around them.
Past life implications: This came from a purposeful manipulative choice to not focus on areas that required your attention. Purposely withholding your attention from something important, you had to purposely tune out vital pieces of information that you knew were important to do what you wanted for self-centered reasons.
Overcome this retrograde: By making a decision you will work on one specific project and creating segments of your day for purposeful intensity in doing such you can work through your retrograde. Some people with this retro are called geniuses. Other aspects of their chart gift them up so they can overcome this retro.
